Need help choosing your Jumps?

Here's a few tips ...

  • The best advice I can give you is to choose the 'adjustable' jumps. With these jumps you can raise or drop the jumping height by lifting the knockable pole which sits on telescopic posts which are built into the framework of the jump. They're ideal for schooling riders of differing levels, the rider will not outgrow the fence as their skills develop and so this means there is no need to invest in several fences of different heights.

  • New to Cross Country? Or maybe schooling a green pony or horse?  Then have a look at the Mini Cross Country Jumps collection

  • Fences like the cottage, sloping pallisade, roly poly etc are an inviting shape to a horse.  If  the rider or horse/pony are inexperienced then these are good options.

  • If you are after more challenging fences, then the corner fence and haycart are quite formidable looking. The puissance/stone wall is quite blocky in shape.  The adjustable flat top which has two poles poses quite a challenge with the boxy shape and the challenging looking XC poles.

  • We can deliver fences anywhere in Ireland. Once you choose your fences and provide  your postcode I can provide a quote. If you wish to collect the fences yourself, you should know that only one or two 240cm fence will fit into an Ifor Williams 505 horsebox, or three 160cm fences standing on their sides.

  • If you are working with a budget that is smaller than you would like, remember you can save yourself some money by painting the fences yourself.  I'll be only too happy to advise on best paint brands. â€‹â€‹
