MUNSTER EQUINE JUMPS
LET'S BUILD A CROSS COUNTRY COURSE
If you follow me on Social Media, you may have seen the reels I have been sharing which give a close up look at each of the cross country jumps as I build a fun virtual cross country course.
Play any of the videos below and you can get a 3D view of each jump, and see for yourself just how strong and robust these fences really are.

Fence 17 - Oak Barrels
Video coming soon

Fence 17 - Adjustable Haycart
Designing adjustable haycart was a challenge as I did not want to compromise on the robustness or safety of the jump. But I got there in the finish.
Fence 16 - Flat Top Birch and Pole
So many options...
Jump the fence at this base height, plain and simple at a starting height of 70cm
Add a pole at the back to create a sloping palisade
Add another pole at the front to increase the challenge and keep the shape of the original jump
Insert plastic birch into the pre drilled holes
Go wild and take the ultimate challenge of using the poles and birch together

Fence 15 - Horseshoe Birch
This unique horseshoe-shaped fence offers a low, beginner-friendly center with the option to easily add height using plastic birch. For added challenge and safety, a knockable pole can be fitted to the back, making it versatile for riders of all levels

Fence 14 - Shoulder Birch
Added to the collection in 2024 because the hanging Shoulder Birch was proving so popular with more advanced riders. Now the beginners can enjoy the challenge of preventing their horse from skipping out the side door while they aim for the lower side of the jump. And the more advanced riders can test their straightness aiming to jump the centre or higher side, knowing their horse will probably aim for the lower side.

Fence 13 - Haycart
Hey, its a haycart, (sorry, couldn't resist).
Niamh Culloty competing over an 80s haycart at an ODE at Collins Equestrian and LauraMai Leahy schooling her young horse over a small haycart recently.

Fence 12 - Brick Wall
Here's a little nod to the Defender Puissance Wall at the Dublin Horse Show. Painted in brick effect on one side, and in more of a stonework effect on the other, this fence gives young riders the chance to live the dream of jumping a puissance, even if it is much smaller.

Fence 11 - Open Skinny Chicken Coop
Add a splash of color to your course with this vibrant open chicken coop jump. Slightly taller than Fence 10 the flat top fence, its inviting triangular shape and design help build your horse’s confidence as they tackle more challenging skinny obstacles
Fence 10 - Mini Skinny Flat Top
Perfect for introducing horses and riders to skinny fences, this robust 50cm jump features the quick-adjust pole system for effortless height changes. The knockable pole ensures a safe learning experience, helping build confidence before tackling solid obstacles

Fence 9 - Skinny Table Top
Challenge yourself with this adjustable skinny fence, ranging from a bold 80cm to a formidable 110cm. Designed for the daring rider, this jump is perfect for honing precision and skill at advanced heights.

Fence 8 - Hanging Arrowhead
Moving along nicely through our fun XC Course, we reach Fence 8 which is a Training Arrowhead with a friendly smiling emoji to give the rider a little encouragement.
Supported by our unique Telescopic Wings, at its lowest height it stands at about 60cm with a nice inviting angle, and by the time it reaches 90cm it turns into a formidable challenge, smiley face or not . But of course you jump whatever height you are comfortable with.
Fence 7 - Skinny Cottage
Every horse mad child's dream home, where they could live at the front of the house and keep their ponies at the back. And probably some adults dream home too.
This skinny cottage is a strong challenge of 80cm and the adjustable pole it can be raised to 90, a metre and even a metre 10. But as the jumps are custom made, you choose the base height you want aswell as the width. You can even get a second pole to fill in that temty space that is cfeated when the pole goes up to its max height.
The options are endless.

Fence 6 - Hanging Pencils Training Fence
The cute little skinny pencil jump would be a welcome sight after that Shoulder Brush.
It's a cute little training fence and kids just love it. The jump itself is a mere 50cm, and with the stands you can raise it up to 60, 70 or 80cm.
Fence 5 - Hanging Shoulder Brush
Heres a fence to sort the rookies from the pros. It starts off nice, small and inviting but as it goes up in height it gets more and more formidable looking. You have to see it to believe it. So would you be with the rookies or the pros?
Fence 4 - Roly Poly
Introducing the roly poly fence, named for its distinctive barrel shape. This jump is adjustable in height using telescopic posts, with a knockable pole for safety. For added versatility, a second pole can be placed underneath to fill the gap when jumping at maximum height
Fence 3 - Chicken Coop
This Chicken Coop has been my best seller since I added it as part of the Arena XC Package. Probably because it is 3 jumps in 1. Aswell as being adjustable in height, it can be split into tow skinnies which ar also adjustable in height. I do try to give the best value for money.
And remember you choose your base height, whether that is a beginners 50cm or a challenging 80cm+, and they can all be adjusted by another 20 or 30cm.
Fence 2 - Triple Birch
The 2nd reel in the 'Let's Build a Cross Country Course" series.
The plastic birch is a great alternative to the normal brush fences when you don't have your own hedging. The branches are easily inserted and removed if you want to jump without the birch or if you need to hide it from mishcevious ponies.
These fences are 40, 50 and 60cm high respectively and the birch will add another 30cm, but of course all fences are available in whatever height you want.
there are endless options, jump the fences seperately to practice technical lines or place one in front of another to create a double row of birch, or if you are feeling really brave you can go for the triple.
So which challenge would you be up for?
Fence 1 - Skinny Bullnose
Fence 1 on this fun virtual cross country course had to be colourful and inviting. I'll admit it might be a challenging base height for our first jump at 80cm, but remember you choose whatever height you want for your jumps. The beauty of these jumps is that they can be adjusted in height. A knockable pole sits on two telescopic posts which can raise the jumping effort in increments of 10cm, adding at least 30cm to the original height. Knockable poles are safer way to help riders and their horses progress up through the levels, enabling them to build up their skills and confidence before the attack the solid fences of the same height.
